Rehabilitation Services
Community Memorial Hospital's Outpatient and Inpatient Rehabilitation Services are provided for a broad range of injuries, impairments and conditions in close consultation with the patient's physician. Services include assessment and treatment of orthopedic problems, such as back pain and rehab after total joint replacements, and neurological disorders, such as stroke and multiple sclerosis and headaches. Other specialized services are listed below.
- Physical Therapy
Back and neck care, aquatic therapy, lymphedema services, stroke rehabilitation and wound care.
- Occupational Therapy
Hand therapy services, splinting, lymphedema services, stroke rehabilitation and wound care.
- Industrial Rehabilitation Services
Provides work conditioning, functional capacity evaluations, work site analysis, pre-employment screenings and prevention education onsite.
- Speech Therapy
Services for speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders.
- Cardiac Rehabilitation
A structured and monitored program for those at risk for or recovering from cardiac diseases.
- Pulmonary Rehabilitation
A rehabilitation program combining individual exercise and group education for those with a variety of pulmonary illnesses.
- Therapeutic Massage
A type of healing that soothes aches and pains and facilitates the body's own healing powers.
