Winona Health's Community Memorial Hospital's Pulmonary Rehabilitation program focuses on comprehensive rehabilitation for a variety of pulmonary illnesses. It combines exercise with individual and group education pertaining to optimal lung health.

Patient may have a variety of conditions:

• Emphysema: Abnormal expansion of the air sacs and decreased ability to exhale.
• Asthma: Spasm of bronchial tubes and increased mucus causing shortness of breath and wheezing.
• Bronchitis: Inflamed, swollen bronchi causing mucus and cough.
• Restrictive Diseases: Fibrosis, Neuromuscular and Vascular Diseases.

Insurance Reimbursement
Medicare part B covers 80% after deductions for individuals with qualifying diagnosis. Most insurance companies cover rehabilitation, but you will need to verify individual plan benefits.
