Winona Health’s Community Memorial Hospital includes a full-service Laboratory staffed around the clock by registered technologists and technicians. In the course of one year, they perform almost 300,000 tests, including a vast array of in-house testing commonly not found in similar-sized facilities.

Test turnaround averages less than two hours, with most testing available on a stat basis. Test results are transmitted directly to the hospital units via the Lab’s computer system. Pathology coverage is in-house and available seven days a week.

In addition to providing specific testing on physicians' orders, the CMH Laboratory offers outreach services such as cholesterol and colorectal screenings. Industrial health testing and drug screen processing also are available.
