Lake Winona Manor Services
  • Skilled nursing care provided 24 hours a day by specially trained registered and licensed practical nurses under the direction of the resident and their physician.

  • Rehabilitative therapies, including physical, occupational and speech therapy, work together with the resident to achieve maximum potential.

  • Therapeutic Recreation staff provides spiritual, cognitive, emotional and intellectual programs for residents to enhance quality of life.

  • A chaplain is available 24 hours a day to all residents and ecumenical church services are provided weekly.

  • Social workers work closely with residents to assist with discharge planning, adjustment to Lake Winona Manor and completion of Health Care Directives.

  • Specially trained staff provide Alzheimer's Care in a loving environment.

  • Palliative care is offered to provide medical, physical, emotional and spiritual treatment to a resident and their family during end-of-life care.

  • Laundry may be done by Lake Winona Manor staff or by the resident's family.

  • Mail is delivered to resident rooms six days a week.

  • Resident Council meets monthly to discuss issues at Lake Winona Manor and bring resident suggestions to staff.

  • Family events are scheduled regularly as an opportunity for families, residents and staff to interact socially.

  • Neighborhood updates are provided two to three times a year as a way to keep families aware of events and changes occurring at Lake Winona Manor.

  • Food and Nutrition staff visits with residents regularly regarding resident's nutrition needs.

  • Volunteers are available to assist residents with games, outings, craft groups, Bible Study, movies, music therapy, parties, picnics and other activities.
